Do not show contact said in Windows Live Messenger

June 23, 2008 03:16 PM

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When you talk to a correspondent in Windows Live Messenger, each message is preceded by the name of its author, even if he wrote several messages in a row. If you want you can choose to display the name only once. This can be removed simply by fallowing steps below:

In Windows Live Messenger, click on the Tools menu and then Options

Look at Messages

In the area of the messages General Settings, uncheck the "show" the contact said, "Prior to each message

Validate changes by pressing on Ok button

Now, one contact said will be shown for the messages you enter as a result. The same with messages on your correspondents
